1. Who can join DSR?

  • DSR welcomes participants aged 12-20. Currently, we’re focused on building our boys’ program, and we are excited to introduce our girls’ youth program in 2025. Participants must be under 21 at the time of registration.

2. Where is training held?

  • Training takes place across the Dallas metroplex. We’ve partnered with the City of Dallas to host many sessions at Lake Highlands and are working on securing locations at Glencoe Park, across Arlington and other venues in North Dallas.

3. Can I play with my home club while joining DSR?

  • Yes, we encourage players to continue with their home clubs. DSR provides additional training, mentorship, and competition opportunities.

4. What all comes with the registration?

  •  Registration includes all mentorship workshops, development programs, and training sessions throughout the season.

5. How long will the season last?

  • The season begins in November and runs through early March.

6. What’s the refund policy?

  • Refunds are provided if competition is canceled due to low participation. However, if a participant attends any training, the refund will be void.

7. What measures does DSR take to ensure safety?

  • DSR prioritizes safety. We have medical staff nearby during training, and trainers will be present at contests. Our coaches are well-trained and experienced, and we use CIPP from USA Rugby and players’ health insurance for additional coverage.

8. Can parents get involved?

  • Absolutely! We welcome parents who want to contribute, and they can join through our “Join Now” tab.

9. What kind of facilities does DSR provide?

  • We train at various well-maintained facilities across Dallas, including parks and fields equipped for rugby.

10. Can I register in person?

  •  Yes, in-person registration is available during training after November 14th.

11. Can I be involved without paying?

  • You may participate initially, but payment is required before the first and last two matches.

12. Can I participate without a physical?

  • Yes, but we strongly encourage bringing a physical exam report before the first match.

13. What age groups are divided for training?

  • We group participants by age to ensure everyone receives training suited to their development needs.

14. Is there any travel involved?

  • As for the Elite Top 23, there may be travel for matches.  Generally, most matches will be local to Dallas. Travel details will be shared as the season progresses.

15. Are there opportunities for advanced players to get scouted?

  •  Yes, DSR’s partnerships and competitions offer opportunities for advanced players to gain exposure and potentially get scouted by higher-level programs.
